DESCRIPTION:The 4TH Annual Touch-a-Truck will rev up on Saturday\, February 20 on Knights Plaza at CFE Arena on the campus of UCF from 11 am to 2 pm. Spectra\, operators of the CFE Arena\, and UCF Women's basketball will team up for this free\, interactive experience for kids of all ages prior to the UCF Women's basketball game against SMU at 2pm inside CFE Arena. All kids who come to Touch-a-Truck will get a special bookmark granting them and three others free admission to the UCF Women's basketball game.\n\n \n\n"The community support for this event has been tremendous\, and we look forward to it every year\," expressed Spectra's Brian Hixenbaugh\, General Manager of the CFE Arena. "We'll be teaming up with UCF Women's basketball again for their education day initiative to give kids an opportunity to learn more about all of the vehicles we'll have on site\, as well as enjoy a great basketball game."\n\n \n\nTouch-a-Truck is a hands-on experience where children will be able to learn about their favorite trucks\, while being part of an interactive experience. They will be able to climb on the trucks and honk the horns as if they were a real truck driver! Featured vehicles at this year's event will include a fire truck\, police vehicles\, construction trucks\, garbage trucks\, as well as others. The vehicle drivers/operators will be on hand to explain how these automobiles work and what purpose they serve in the community.\n\n \n\nThere will be opportunities for kids\, along with their families\, to enter raffles for prizes and giveaways. Also\, UCF Athletics will be giving away 400 hot pink UCF tank tops to the first 400 fans that attend the game after Touch-a-Truck. Knights Plaza\, a shopping center equipped with different eateries\, will be open for lunch\, making it a fun outing for the whole family.
