Develop and promote a favorable business climate through advocacy and awareness of governmental and economic development issues within our region.
Economic Development Goals:
- Encourage and support initiatives that create and perpetuate a business-friendly community, create jobs, and promote a healthy and diversified business environment.
- Work to eliminate perceived and actual barriers that discourage business growth, expansion and retention.
Government Affairs Goals:
- Inform business owners about governmental initiatives that impact the local and regional economy.
- Promote policy changes that will reduce burdens on business.
