The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Metro
Orlando (MSABC) will officially launch its 2012 fundraising efforts with a Rockin’
Kick-Off event including the first ever breast cancer awareness concert in
Central Fla. MSABC encourages new and returning Striders to attend the kick-off
event to learn more about the upcoming MSABC walk, how to register a team and
get friends and family to join. Guests will be welcomed on a pink carpet and have
the chance to gather information on fundraising ideas and garnering community
awareness. Following the event, guests can stay for a concert from Give
‘Til It Rocks, All the Above and Token Fat Guys, plus live and silent auctions.
Registered MSABC team members can sell concert tickets to raise proceeds for
their individual MSABC teams. Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Metro
Orlando will host its annual 5K walk on October 20, 2012 at Lake Eola in downtown
