OPTIMIST MISSION: By Providing hope and positive vision, Optimists bring out the best in kids.
The Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club locally provides youth, family and special needs programs and is proud to help support Boys Town, Special Olympics Florida, the O.I. Childhood Cancer Campaign and Nemours Children’s Hospital Orlando!
In 2013, Special Olympics Seminole recognized the Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club as their "Organization of the Year.
In both 2012 and 2013, the Oviedo-Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce recognized the Oviedo-Winter Springs Optimist Club as the Chamber’s "Non-Profit of the Year."
